The commercially available G4® Sequencing Platform is a powerful, highly versatile benchtop genomic sequencer designed to produce fast and accurate results. In addition, the company is currently developing the G4X™ Spatial Sequencer, an upgrade to the G4, which will leverage Singular’s proprietary sequencing technology, applying it as an in situ readout for transcriptomics, proteomics and fluorescent H&E in tissue, with spatial context. Our Headquarters are located on the Torrey Pines Mesa, in La Jolla, California at the center of the biotech hub. Our Manufacturing facility is in Sorrento Valley.

Position Summary:

As the Manager, Supply Chain, you will lead core supply chain functions including Procurement, Inventory Control, Production Planning, Logistics, and Supplier Management. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, forecast accuracy, and inventory reliability across the organization. You will work cross-functionally with teams in R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance to align demand planning, supplier performance, and systems integration. As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, you’ll drive scalable processes that support current operations and long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Operations & Strategy

  • Build and oversee Procurement, Inventory Control, Production Planning, and Warehouse functions.
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, cost control, scalability, and reliability of supply chain operations.
  • Adapt processes to support business growth, NPI, and evolving operational needs.
  • Define and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop production plans that meet internal and external customer demand.
  • Deliver short- and long-term production schedules to support capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, & Marketing to ensure readiness and support business objectives.

Supplier & Inventory Management

  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation and execution of supply and quality agreements.
  • Ensure vendor performance meets expectations for quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Maintain systems for accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal inventory control standards.

Systems Integration & Business Reporting

  • Implement and maintain systems and master data to support MRP/ERP functionality and accurate planning.
  • Integrate forecast data and operational plans across functions to support end-to-end visibility and execution.
  • Partner with Finance to generate operational reports that inform executive-level decisions.
  • Maintain communication with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field; or 6–8 years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • MRP/ERP implementation experience required.
  • APICS, Lean, or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience building and scaling supply chain functions aligned with organizational growth strategies.
  • Hands-on experience managing cross-functional planning activities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The estimated base salary range for this role based in the United States of America is: $105,000 - $139,800. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Should the level of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
