Vertex Summer Internship 2024, U.S. Public Affairs (Boston, MA)
The Vertex Internship Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. U.S. Public Affairs (USPA) works with policymakers, the patient advocacy community, and other key partners and stakeholders to ensure an environment where patients have access to therapies. The intern will work closely with the state and federal government affairs teams with the opportunity to assist in patient advocacy and alliance development.
The intern will focus mostly on the monitoring, review, and analysis of state and federal legislation that have the potential to impact the company, with the opportunity to work on other projects as they come up.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in the process of being completed and a demonstrated understanding of federal or state government affairs.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating in Spring 2024
