POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution and Logistics Performance Manager to join our Global Logistics team. As the Global Business Process Owner, you will be responsible for providing innovative best practices and expertise in performance management, reporting, and sustainability within the Distribution and Logistics (D&L) department. Your role will involve supporting operational teams, overseeing supplier selection, facilitating budgeting and savings tracking, and ensuring successful product launches and expansions. Additionally, you will lead performance improvement initiatives, drive the QBR framework, and maintain governance over D&L metrics and targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of logistics and distribution processes, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide innovative best practices on performance management and global reporting to Global Distribution & Logistics members, OpUs, and BUs.
- Act as the Global Business Process Owner for D&L reporting, performance management, governance, QBR framework, and sustainability.
- Support operational teams by delivering performance metrics and facilitating the deployment of innovative transportation and warehousing practices.
- Assist in supplier selection for third-party logistics and logistics service providers, developing guidelines and procedures for improving distribution network costs.
- Support procurement and quality departments in preparing data sets and performance inputs for RFI/RFQ processes.
- Ensure successful product launches and geographic expansions through effective project management and local coordination.
- Monitor and implement Crisis and Risk management practices at all sites, including Local Operating Companies, third-party logistics providers, and transportation companies.
- Support transport budgeting and long-range financial forecasts in the assigned region.
- Facilitate budget definition and savings tracking processes.
- Ensure alignment with transport/logistics/distribution procurement standards and procedures, and lead freight auditing and supplier performance management.
- Work with EDI transaction sets for transportation carriers and assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Expertise in logistics and distribution processes, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes and functions.
- Familiarity with GDP requirements and good knowledge of Supply Chain and reporting systems (e.g., Oracle, BI, Power BI).
- Ability to lead performance dialogue, drive continuous improvement, and manage global projects.
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, working with OpUs, commercial business units, and various internal functions.
- Strategic thinking and ability to innovate patient-centric logistics and distribution services.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to support decision-making in a matrix organization.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across different organizational levels.
- Capability to bridge Commercial and Manufacturing organizations.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, influence senior management, and make complex supply chain decisions.
- Agile mindset to constantly adapt to a changing environment
- Preferred proficiency with Transportation Management System (TMS), BI Analytics Tool and Visibility software
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, and/or Supply Chain management.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Distribution and Logistics management.
- Requires 2-4 years of experience as a lead for performance metric reporting, management & governance in a global matrix organization.
- Master’s degree in business or Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering or finance preferred
- Good knowledge of Supply Chain systems, particularly Oracle TMS.
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages are a plus.
- Strong leadership, networking, and influencing abilities.
- Intercultural competence and ability to work in diverse teams.
- Business acumen and financial analytics skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to present ideas clearly, convincingly, and confidently.
- Strong portfolio management skills (PMI certification is a plus).
- Familiarity with Oracle OTM, OTC, OPM, customers and suppliers collaboration solutions, and BI solutions.
Salary range: $142,000 - $205,000 annually

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
