About Us
One Medical is a primary care solution challenging the industry status quo by making quality care more affordable, accessible and enjoyable. But this isn’t your average doctor’s office. We’re on a mission to transform healthcare, which means improving the experience for everyone involved - from patients and providers to employers and health networks. Our seamless in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses and mental health concerns have been delighting people for the past fifteen years.
In February 2023 we marked a milestone when One Medical joined Amazon. Together, we look to deliver exceptional health care to more consumers, employers, care team members, and health networks to achieve better health outcomes. As we continue to grow and seek to impact more lives, we’re building a diverse, driven and empathetic team, while working hard to cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive.
As we continue to expand our services and increase our capacity to transform primary care for all, the teams who support One Medical are growing as well, and we are seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant role will assist with all aspects of the monthly general ledger close process, including ensuring the completeness of transactions, performing analytical review of results and researching variances. You will be primarily responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables and various ad hoc requests within established timelines. This role will also take the lead in identifying and implementing continuous improvements and other special projects. You are deeply skilled in accounting operations and have ideally worked in companies during stages of high growth. You'll use your strong sense of accountability to drive results and follow through on your commitments.
Acting with a clear sense of ownership, you take personal responsibility for decisions, actions, and failures. You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations. You're a good listener and an effective communicator who enthusiastically takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency and high energy. You'll identify the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficient workflow. If you are intellectually curious, enjoy a collaborative, team-based environment and are excited about the opportunity to be a part of a high performing team in a high-growth public organization, while pursuing your own professional development during close and reporting cycles, we would love to hear from you!
