How You Will Make An Impact
- Apply advanced quality planning tools such as FMEA, boundary diagrams, interface analysis, process capability analysis, control plans (including optimized statistical sampling plans), mistake proofing, design for X (DFx e.g., manufacturability, assembly, test, servicing), product lifecycle planning, measurement system analysis, and supplier qualification, where required to assure requirements are met or exceeded
- Incorporate reliability principles into specifications, test plans, and other relevant documents
- Resolve reliability problems and reduce quality costs using structured problem solving with closed loop corrective and preventive actions
- Familiar with statistic method for data analysis on quality or reliability issues.
- Work with global supplier on Failure Analysis (FA) and generate professional 8D Report.
- Work with design and manufacturing on reliability improvement projects in support of complaint reduction
- Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability
- Compile and evaluate performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and evaluate relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes
- Evaluate preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer, and governmental agency reliability objectives
- Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- ASQ CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) required or within 18 months of hiring
- Six-Sigma certified, able to use Statistic tools (e.g. Minitab or JMP) for quality and reliability data analysis, professional at MSA, GR&R analysis
- Great communication skill and cross-functional collaboration skill, able to drive internal teams and external vendors for cross-functional failure analysis
- Customer facing experience, able to generate FA/8D report and present to customer
- 5-7 years of experience in reliability testing
- 5-7 years of experience with statistical analysis
- Experience in manufacturing or design environment
- Familiar with reliability concepts and how to apply them
- English and Mandarin Chinese bilingual will be a plus
Pay Range
$120,000-$170,000
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, annual base salary for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Innovusion. We also offer an annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for equity (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
