Job Summary

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a number of general accounting support tasks within our accounting team. Duties will include reconciling records with internal company employees and management, as well as external vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable responsibilities include but not limited to understanding revenue recognition concepts, generating invoices, payment collections, cash application, and customer correspondences.
• Accounts payable responsibilities including but not limited to processing vendor invoices, data entry, vendor payments, reconciling vendor accounts, vendor communications, processing 1099s and processing employee expense reports in a timely manner.
• Communicate and partner with internal departments, external customers, and vendors on a variety of matters.
• Perform journal entries including accruals, prepayment and fixed asset depreciation.
• Support quarterly inventory and fixed asset count.
• Assist with the month-end closing process with balance sheet reconciliations and assist with monthly financial package.
• Assist with or be responsible for other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in both private and public companies.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control.
• Detail oriented and organizational skills sufficient to support multiple projects.
• Self-motivated, proactive, prioritize appropriately, and being able to manage multi-tasks with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and active listening skills in diverse organizational levels.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, experienced in NetSuite, Bill.com and Expensify.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese will be a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• CPA will be a plus

Pay Range

$70,000-$100,000

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, annual base salary for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Innovusion. We also offer an annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for equity (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
